Disciplinary system recommendations and actions are available from 1979 to the present and updated as information is received from the Office of Disciplinary Counsel and 董事会 on Professional Responsibility. For pending matters, not yet included here, contact those offices directly.

The “nonsuspensory sanctions” are, from least severe to most severe: an “informal admonition” by Disciplinary Counsel, a “reprimand” by the 董事会 on Professional Responsibility, and “public censure” by the Court. 在更严重的情况下，D.C. Court of Appeals may impose a suspension of up to three years (and may also require the lawyer to prove fitness to practice prior to reinstatement), or disbarment (in which the respondent may apply for reinstatement after five years and must prove fitness).
